Notice is hereby given to Mahogany-Timika Michelle Kirksey-Brown, the mother of Z. K., born June 20, 2023, whose present whereabouts are unknown and cannot be ascertained after diligent search and inquiry; or any other person or persons who claim to have a legal interest in the following proceedings in the Juvenile Court of Washington County, Alabama, viz:

In the matter of the permanent custody and termination of parental rights of the parents of Z. K., born June 20, 2023.
Heretofore, this the 14th day of January 2025 came the State of Alabama Department of Human Resources and filed in this Court a petition asking for the permanent custody and termination of parental rights of the parents of said child for the purpose of placing said minor for adoption.
That said Mahogany-Timika Michelle Kirksey-Brown, mother, shall respond to the complaint no later than 30 days after the last date of publication shown herein.
It is ORDERED by the Court that the 9th day of July 2025 at 9:00 AM be appointed as the day for hearing said petition, at which time all parties who claim to have a legal interest can appear and contest the same if they think proper.

Debris Removal, Reduction, and Disposal Following a Declared Disaster Alabama Department of Transportation
Southwest Region – Grove Hill Area Choctaw, Clark, Marengo, Monroe, Washington
Sealed bids will be received by the Alabama Department of Transportation until 10:00 am on Monday, April 14, 2025, and at that time, publicly opened for a retainer contract for debris removal, reduction, and disposal following a declared disaster, in the Southwest Region, Grove Hill Area. The bid opening will take place at the Alabama Department of Transportation, Southwest Region, Grove Hill Area office.
Qualified General Contractors holding a current Alabama State license are invited to bid. This contract is for the purpose of retaining a qualified General Contractor whose services would be employed in the event of a Tropical Storm event or other declared disaster.

The most qualified, responsive, responsible, and highest ranked bid will be accepted with key consideration based upon the benefit to the public; however, the Alabama Department of Transportation reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularity in the bids received, and to accept or reject any items of the bid for the benefit of the public.
No conditional bids will be accepted.
No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled closing date and time for the receipt of bids.
