General Notice
Chatom Utilities (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Chatom Utilities USDA WWTP Improvements
USDA Project Number: 01-065-558574035
Engineer Project Number: 100242.23
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Chatom Utilities Office located at 44 West Front Street, Chatom, AL 36518, until Tuesday, November 25 at 1:00 PM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
The Chatom Utilities USDA WWTP Improvements Project involves various improvements to the Sequencing Batch Reactors, UV Disinfection System, Tertiary Filters, Influent Screen and PLC and Interface system at the Chatom Wastewater Treatment Plant
Bids are requested for the following Contract: Chatom Utilities USDA WWTP Improvements
The Project has an expected duration of 270 days.

Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. There is a non-refundable $22.00 cost for downloading the contract documents in a pdf format. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.
Pre-bid Conference
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Wednesday, November 12th at 10:00 AM local time at Chatom Utilities Offices at 44 West Front Street, Chatom, AL 36518.

This project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements under Title IX of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), Pub. L. 117-58 §§70901-70953. Absent an approved water, all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in this project must be produced in the United States.

FORECLOSURE NOTICE
Default having been made in the terms of payment and other conditions described in and secured by that certain Asset Purchase Agreement executed on July 31, 2023, by and between Deep South Media Group, LLC, represented by Harold Welch, President (hereinafter referred to as “Buyer” or “Mortgagor”), and Gray & Gray, Inc., represented by Willie T. Gray, President (hereinafter referred to as “Seller” or “Mortgagee”), notice is hereby given that said Mortgagor is in violation of the Asset Purchase Agreement.
Pursuant to the terms of the agreement, the Mortgagor has been allotted a minimum of thirty (30) days to satisfy the requirements of said agreement. If the Mortgagor has not cured the default or reached a settlement by the end of business on November 30, 2025, the Mortgagee will, under and by virtue of the power of sale contained in the agreement, on and after December 1, 2025, reclaim full ownership of all property and assets held as collateral and described in the Asset Purchase Agreement.
Said collateral includes, but is not limited to, all accounts receivable and payments in hand at the time of default; all rights, titles, and interests in the trade names and publications known as Citronelle Call, Call News, Washington County News, and The Shoppers Plus; and all related websites and digital properties included in the original agreement.
The Mortgagee will also reclaim ownership of all office supplies, equipment, furniture, fixtures, furnishings, and automobiles described in the Asset Purchase Agreement, and/or used or intended for use in the operation of the aforementioned publications located in Mobile County and Washington County, Alabama.
Pursuant to Alabama law, certain persons who have an interest in the property may have the right to redeem the property under specific circumstances.

Default having been made of the terms of the loan documents secured by that certain mortgage executed by Amber M Helveston, a single woman, to Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., as mortgagee, as nominee for Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation, its successors and assigns dated November 20, 2018; said mortgage being recorded on December 14, 2018 in Deed Book 516, Page 171, in the Office of the Judge of Probate of Washington County, Alabama. Said Mortgage was last sold, assigned and transferred to Lakeview Loan Servicing, LLC by assignment recorded in Deed Book 210, Page 614, in the Office of the Judge of Probate of Washington County, Alabama.
The undersigned, Lakeview Loan Servicing, LLC, under and by virtue of the power of sale contained in said mortgage, will sell at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash before the main entrance of the Court House in Washington County, Alabama during the legal hours of sale (between 11am and 4pm), on November 26, 2024 the following property, situated in Washington County, Alabama, to-wit:

Should a conflict arise between the property address and the legal description, the legal description will control.
Said property will be sold subject to any outstanding ad valorem taxes (including taxes which are a lien, but not yet due and payable), the right of redemption of any taxing authority, all outstanding liens for public utilities which constitute liens upon the property, any matters which might be disclosed by an accurate survey and inspection of the property, any assessments, liens, encumbrances, easements, rights-of-way, zoning ordinances, restrictions, special assessments, covenants, the statutory right of redemption pursuant to Alabama law, and any matters of record including, but not limited to, those superior to said Mortgage first set out above. Said property will be sold on an “as-is” basis without any representation, warranty or recourse against the above-named or the undersigned. The successful bidder must present certified funds in the amount of the winning bid at the time and place of sale.
Alabama law gives some persons who have an interest in property the right to redeem the property under certain circumstances. Programs may also exist that help persons avoid or delay the foreclosure process.
