Default having been made in the payment of indebtedness secured by that mortgage executed to MITCHELL BECTON, on the 24th day of January, 2023, by JASON BRANDON WAITES, and recorded in Mortgage Book 536 at page 626, et. seq., in Office of the Judge of Probate of Washington County, Alabama, the undersigned, by virtue of the power of sale contained in the said mortgage, will sell at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash at the front door of the Courthouse of Washington County, Alabama, in the City of Chatom, on the 11th day of October, 2024, during the legal hours of sale, the following described real estate situated in Washington County, Alabama, to-wit:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of the SW 1/4 of SE 1/4; run North 365 feet; thence East 452 feet to the point of beginning; thence North 70 degrees East along the public road 210 feet; thence North 20 degrees West 210 feet; thence South 70 degrees West 210 feet; thence South 20 degrees East 210 feet to the point of beginning, containing 1 acre, in SW 1/4 of SE 1/4 of Section 26, Township 7 North, Range 3 West, Washington County, Alabama.
This sale is made for the purpose of paying the indebtedness secured by said mortgage, as well as the expenses of foreclosure, including a reasonable attorney’s fee.
